TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

IGH responds to the importance of transportation for residents in the Mid-Atlantic area. Transportation can reduce social isolation and enhance individual autonomy and psychosocial well-being. In many rural and urban communities, there is a need for safe, accessible, convenient, and affordable transportation options for older adults and people with disabilities. IGH is positioned to provide transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients. Transportation is provided to and from hospitals, doctor appointments grocery shopping and/or wherever the client needs to go. This service is provided around the clock – as needed on a 24/7 basis.
